Sunny skies and light winds can be expected today. The approach and passage of a Pacific weather system will lead to an uptrend in breeziness in the Tuesday - Thursday time frame. The system will be weakening as it moves through and there will be rain shadowing. So, at this time, rainfall chances will be quite slim. But, cooler temperatures can be expected Thursday and Friday.
Peak 8 hour average Ozone is expected to remain in the Good category aided by the time of year (decreasing daylight hours), and Good to Excellent ventilation (plus some cloudiness on Wednesday).
Daily average PM10 (dust) is expected to remain in the Good category as winds are not expected to be overly strong. Of note, the highest average is expected on Thursday due to breezy to windy conditions in the evening potentially enhancing dust generation from the west.
Peak ventilation will be Excellent Tuesday through Thursday before decreasing Friday.
