The Virgin River DWID applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.0366 million gallons per day (MGD) of treated domestic wastewater from the Virgin River DWID Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Virgin River in Mohave County, Arizona. The facility is a publicly-owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Beaver Dam. Sludge is hauled via tank truck to the Mesquite Wastewater Treatment Plant for additional processing and final disposal.
