Action Taken

Since 2015, ADEQ has installed monitoring wells and sampled private domestic use wells at the site. During the Remedial Investigation (RI), two source areas have been identified as the North Area and South Area. Several private domestic wells have been impacted above Aquifer Water Quality Standards (AWQS) for PCE and, in one well, trichloroethene (TCE). ADEQ has installed wellhead treatment systems at these wells as part of Early Response Actions (ERAs) taken at the site. The Remedial Investigation was completed in June 2020 and the report was finalized in May 2021. The Feasibility Study (FS) was completed in March 2022.

ERAs and periodic private well sampling activities are ongoing.

From June 2018 to June 2025, implemented wellhead treatment systems have treated an approximate 23,196,341 gallons of water and removed 3.88 pounds of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs).
